Some possibilities

What can we do for the elderly at the St. Andrew's Home of the Aged?
Here are some possibilities:
1) Sing a song
2) Play the recorder
3) Perform a short skit
4) Make some handicraft

Do you have other suggestions?

Thinking about choice 1

Sing a song
What song are we going to select?
What language will that song be?
Can the elderly understand what we are singing?
How many people must be involved in singing?

Thinking about choice 2

Play the recorder
What song are we going to select?
Who is going to be the conductor?
How many people must be involved in blowing the recorder?

Thinking about choice 3

Perform a short skit
What skit can we put up?
Do we have the time to practice?
What language will the skit be in?
Will the elderly understand the language?
How many people must be involved in putting up the performance?

Thinking about choice 4

Make some handicraft
What handicraft do we want to make?
Is it easy to do?
Do we want to write anything on the handicraft?

My decision

Volunteer your services
Everyone can and should contribute something to make the day enjoyable for the elderly. You can organise yourself into small groups to do any of the recommended activities. The class can also come up a with a short programme where the whole class will put up a short performance.

Write down your plan in the comments: Who do you want to work with and what will your group do?
